NL Games
The Newfoundland & Labrador Winter Games are always very exciting in our Province. The NL Games occur every 4 years and only affiliated NLBA clubs are eligible to compete. The Technical Packages for the NL Games are developed by the Provincial Sport Organization governing each respective sport.
NL Games will be held in Gander from February 24th – March 2nd, 2024! Basketball will be a part of week 2 of the games. To qualify to play in the games each U14 team will compete in a regional play down in November. The winners from each regional playdown will represent at the games. Please review the NL Games Basketball Manual, and FAQ sheet to understand the full process.
Important Dates:
October 11th - deadline to submit application to host regional qualifiers. click here to apply to host.
November 1st - deadline to register your team to participate in regional qualifiers. click here to register.
November 17th-19th - Regional qualifier tournaments are to be held, both boys & girls.
